Based on the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the United States, the Reach for a Dream Foundation helps children with life-threatening illnesses realise their dreams.
In this way, the Foundation helps alleviate some of the strain that illnesses like cancer put on children and their families. It also enriches the children's lives and, at least for a time, helps them regain the magic of childhood.
